The Climax is a couples' club in Balen, in the province of Antwerp, at Molsesteenweg 5. Benny and Gisela opened it on 30 August 2019, after what they describe as a fifteen-year dream, and present it as a trendy club for couples, single men and single women with an open mind — a place where, in their words, anything is possible and nothing is compulsory.
The evening begins in the disco, with DJs, a bar pouring A-label drinks and a restaurant with a freshly made hot and cold buffet: you cook your own meat on the plancha, food is served until 11:30pm and the desserts stay out until 1:30am. Upstairs are the club's rooms, some of which can be locked for a private moment, along with showers and lockers. There is also an infrared sauna, a jacuzzi, a garden with an outdoor shower and a smoking room overlooking the dance floor. Everything is included in the entry — drinks, food, towels, locker and parking.
The club opens on Monday and Thursday afternoons from 11:30am to 5:30pm, and on Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm to 3am. On Fridays and Saturdays a separate couple area is kept for couples who would rather stay among couples. Sexy lingerie is the dress code from the moment you arrive, with shoes or slippers for hygiene and safety. And if it is your first time, the owners suggest asking at the till for a tour.

The week at the house
Themed evenings and private parties are announced on the club's events page and by flyer, each with its own dress code; summer parties are held in the garden. Fifteen minutes before closing the bar closes and everyone changes back.

The dress code applies from the moment you arrive. Shoes are compulsory on the ground floor — boots, sneakers, pumps or slippers — for hygiene and safety. Themed nights announce their own dress code.
Good to know
- Couples, single men and single women are all welcome; guests must be 18, and ID may be requested.
- On Fridays and Saturdays the couple area is open to couples, single women and single men invited by a couple — not to single men on their own.
- Groups of more than five single men may be asked to book ahead, and on busy Fridays and Saturdays only a limited number of new guests can be admitted.
- Phones are allowed only at the lockers and the entrance; no photos or videos without the management's consent.
- No drinks in the rooms upstairs; smoking only in the smoking room.
