An independent editorial guide to the libertine lifestyle across Europe — not an advertising network. We list houses on merit, describe them with care, and publish only what we can stand behind. Our reputation rests on one thing: that being in House XIII means something.

Every venue is assessed against our criteria before it appears. Nothing is published automatically.
Verified
We confirm a house is a genuine libertine venue before it goes live. We'd rather list fewer houses than one we can't vouch for.

How we describe a house
Every description is factual — written in our own words or drawn from the venue's own account. We never invent, embellish, or publish explicit material. If we can't describe a house truthfully and tastefully, we don't publish it at all.
The House XIII Selected mark
Our highest distinction — and our most important promise. It is earned, never sold. A house must meet the House XIII standard to be eligible. A venue can pay for visibility and the tools to manage its presence; it can never pay for the mark of quality itself. That line is what makes the mark worth anything — and we will not cross it.
Independence & integrity
A paid listing buys presence and control — never a kinder verdict. Our editorial judgement stays independent of any commercial relationship. If that ever changed, the guide would be worthless, and we know it.
Accuracy, claims & removal
We sometimes get things wrong. If a detail is off, if a house wishes to claim or update its listing, or if a venue would simply rather not appear at all — tell us. We correct, update, or remove promptly, no questions asked.
Taste, discretion & 18+
Everything here is tasteful and non-explicit, by design — out of respect for our readers and the houses alike. House XIII is strictly for adults (18+). Consent and discretion come first, always.
